Teacher of the Week: 12/7-12/11

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Week: Ms. Hubahib!

"A teacher affects eternity: he can never tell where his influence stops." –Henry Adams

I teach because I believe this is my calling. Never have I aspired to teach when I was younger, but here I am in my 22nd year of teaching (here and in the Philippines). Path was made for me to be in this vocation, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love sharing and discovering things through hands-on. I love the "aha" moments in class. I love the laughter and the arguments. I love the experiences and the wisdom imparted by my students and colleagues. I learn a lot from them. I don't just learn or hear or read about Science, but about life as well... real life scenarios. I love seeing former students - may they be successful, struggling or still trying and figuring out life. I will always be a part of their lives, and they will always be a part of mine. What I do now doesn't end when students leave my class. It goes far beyond school. That makes me richer and fuller as a person.
